Level 1: Simple statements using the source as information, e.g. defence against communism, protection of South Vietnam etc. (1-3)
Level 2: Developed statements making inferences from the sources, the USA was clearly concerned about the Domino effect and communist control of south-east Asia, the comments about Vietnam are waffle etc. (4-6)
