Is smuggling really a crime?Plenty of people avoid paying taxes by putting their savings into special accounts like TESSAs and ISAs, or even offshore bank accounts. Surely there's no harm in an old boy bringing back a carton of tobacco to sell to his mates in the pub?

if thats the case then whats the harm in trying out some class A drugs or seeing what it feels like to kill someone or testing out what human flesh tastes like or bringing over a few weapons to give to ur best friend or ...
this list is endless to avoid this in future think before you post

Who decides what is illegal and what is not? In 1967 cocaine was legal, as was heroin, cannabis and opium.

the government changes all the time, was Tony Blair Primeminsiter in 1967. Most laws made are for the safety of the public, if i were to get high on crack and go out in public its likly that i would hurt someone so thats why it is now illegal(or at least that what i think).
