What have been your experiences of the 'boys in blue'? Have they been a help or a hindrance in your life? Do you think that they are fair and trustworthy? Hard-working? Or corrupt, dishonest and lazy?

depends on the officer some give you a chance but some just want 2 bring there figures up and nick u i managed to get away with stuff because of the officer that stopped me giving me a chance

they are doing a job just like teachers.... if people get on the wrong side of the school rules they get punished, if people get on th wrong side of 'real life rules' then they get punished. If you dont want the police to hinder you then follow the rules.

sounds simple enough to me...

I belive that they do benefit the community in some aspects however some policeman have been known to abuse their own power and use it in negative wasy such as race descrimination and other acts.
